Plays Rough London presents ‘Factual and Fantasy’, their lucky thirteenth in a series of new writing nights! 

Join us for an evening of autobiographical adventures; underwater reunions; an epic tragedy of truth telling; real life air-crash investigation and the unravelling of a web of lies. 

As our world further blurs the lines between truth and fiction, a distressing reality craves an escape into the realms of imagination, we face an impossible decision: search for and embrace hard facts or take refuge and solace in fantasy. 

FACT: Featuring emerging and established theatre-makers to provide platform for playful new writing.

FANTASY: A preview ahead of Plays Rough London’s broadway debut, with cameos by Saoirse Ronan and Joaquin Phoenix.

Plays Rough London have been producing new-writing events since 2016. They work with emerging writers, directors and actors to produce short plays that have gone on to full-length productions around the globe. Their aim is to provide a stage to facilitate personal growth and the development of projects. In order to be creative we need to experiment. We are a space where you can take risks and fail, so that when you succeed it is spectacular not just safe!
