DETAILS

This is the only London event to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the untimely passing of Jimi Hendrix who died on 19th September 1970.

We are staging a open air/marquee based festival in commemoration of this great musician who literally changed guitar based rock and blues music.

Our acts will be blues based, 60s/70s rock bands playing music that would have been influenced by Jimi Hendrix or that he was interested in and played even before his meteoric rise to fame.

We have the support of many great musicians and more coming on board.

The final cemmemoration concert will be performed vocally by Reuben Richards (A true Hendrix officionado) and a whole range of musicians performing parts of the Hendrix repertoir.
