AppArt’s annual Art Exhibition & Sculpture Trail this year will see many South East artists taking part including some very well known and distinguished ones. Foremost among these is sculptor Philip Jackson. Philip has an international stature and his very many public commissions throughout the UK are testament to this. Mahatma Gandhi in Parliament Square, The Queen on Horseback at Windsor and Alex Ferguson in Manchester are just a few examples.
As well as opening the AppArt exhibition Philip’s Venetian inspired sculptures will be on display indoors and on the sculpture trail.
The Exhibition & Sculpture Trail at Prior’s Field School, Godalming will be open every day from Saturday 1st April to Easter Sunday 16th between 10 am to 4pm. Admission is free and visitors will be able to view about 500 indoor exhibits and also explore the Gertrude Jekyll inspired gardens and see over 100 large sculptures in a tranquil and picturesque setting.
