10:30am – 4pm ~ £20 (lunch not included)

City Centre Temple, 125 Portland Street, M1 4QD

Venerable Geshe-la tells us that when our world is pervaded by problems, sufferings and dangers, one of the most important practices we can engage in is that of Medicine Buddha. By relying upon this Holy Being in very impure times, we can definitely be cured of physical and mental diseases and find release from all internal pain.

Through receiving an empowerment we engage in a special ritual meditation practice in which we develop a connection with a particular Buddha. This connection improves our practice of meditation and leads us swiftly to develop the peace and happiness that we are all searching for through beginning to control and transform our minds in our daily life.

10.30am - 12.30pm Empowerment

12.30 - 2pm Lunch Break (a light buffet is provided for those who wish)

2 - 4pm Commentary and the Practice of Medicine Buddha Sadhana Prayers

Gen Lhachog teaches through her experience of life, which makes Buddha’s teachings so accessible to all. With her warm approach and extensive knowledge of Buddhist teachings, aswell as her clear and relaxed manner, she inspires us to practice in our daily lives.
