Quotes for The Room
“A powerful solo musical that takes you on a rollercoaster journey of emotions that leaves you thinking long after the show has ended” (Gerald Armin, Artistic Director, Waterloo East Theatre)
The telling of the tale held me through to the end. Well done, beautiful music. A wonderful evening. A great story line with superpower singing and playing. A must for everyone.
The Room is a beautifully written piece that takes you to places you wouldn't expect from a musical. The songs were all very well composed and showed a great variation. It's the sort of piece that really stays with you. It was the perfect trifecta of Alex Abbott's writing and music, a brilliant performance and Greg Fitch's excellent direction. The Room had me gripped throughout. It is a show not to be missed.
The Room is an emotionally intelligent and powerful piece of writing, and leaves the audience enthralled from start, to finish, to the journey home afterwards. Beautifully written and performed. A must see.
